Our Ambition
A Connected African Market.
We started in the Horn of Africa, where we know every port, corridor, regulator and family business by name. Now we are growing across the continent — market by market, corridor by corridor.
Our Continental VisionVerified Counterparties
We check, validate and build trust.
Structured Deals
Clear terms both sides can sign.
End-to-End Support
From first contact to final payment.
One Point of Accountability
A named person, every time.
How We Work
Every mandate runs the same seven stages.
So both sides always know exactly where the transaction stands — and who owns it. How we work →
Brief & mandate
Scope, exclusivity, timeline and fee agreed in writing. An NDA is signed before sensitive information moves.
Sourcing & shortlist
We go to market and return comparable options — never a single option presented as the only one.
Verification
Licences, capacity, references, bank standing, sanctions and PEP screening, and a physical site visit.
Structuring
Price, specification, Incoterms 2020 delivery terms, payment instrument, inspection and dispute resolution.
Contracting
Contract, letter of credit terms, insurance and the full certificate set — checked before shipment.
Execution
Booking, loading supervision, clearance at both ends, milestone reporting. One named manager owns the file.
Settlement
Payment released against documents, claims handled, a written performance review and a plan for repeat trade.
Sectors We Serve
Where our mandates actually land.
Nine sectors where we hold live counterparty networks on both sides of the trade. See all sectors →
Food & Agriculture
Staple imports, agricultural inputs, oilseed and coffee sourcing, cold chain, agro-processing projects.
Construction & Infrastructure
Cement, steel, finishings, plant hire and heavy equipment, project cargo, contractor matching.
Energy & Fuels
Petroleum products and lubricants, solar and hybrid systems, generation equipment, IPP introductions.
Livestock, Meat & Fisheries
Export sourcing, holding and inspection, halal certification, chilled and frozen logistics to Gulf and Asian markets.
Health & Pharmaceuticals
Regulated import channels, consumables and equipment, cold-chain handling, facility supply.
Transport & Automotive
Commercial vehicles, spare parts, fleet acquisition, workshop equipment.
Telecoms & Technology
Network equipment supply, vendor introductions, with systems and platform delivery by Horn Plus Technology.
Humanitarian & Development
Vetted local suppliers, compliant documentation, delivery into difficult access areas for agencies and NGOs.
Retail, FMCG & General Trade
Distributor and wholesaler networks, consolidated container programmes, brand market entry.
Where We Operate
A core region we know port by port.
Seven East African markets, and an international desk network that brings counterparties to them. Where we operate →
| Market | Gateway | What we handle there |
|---|---|---|
| Somalia | Mogadishu, Bosaso, Kismayo, Berbera | Import distribution, food staples, construction materials, livestock and marine exports, market entry. Berbera, in western Somalia, serves Ethiopia-bound transit. |
| Djibouti | Doraleh, Port of Djibouti | Regional transhipment, bonded storage, Ethiopia gateway, free-zone structuring. |
| Ethiopia | Djibouti & Berbera corridors | Inbound machinery and agricultural inputs; coffee, oilseed and horticulture sourcing. |
| Kenya | Mombasa, Nairobi ICD | Northern Corridor freight, regional distribution, sourcing and consolidation, partner search. |
| Uganda & South Sudan | Northern Corridor | Inland transit, project cargo, cross-border trade facilitation. |
| Tanzania | Dar es Salaam, Central Corridor | Consolidation, minerals and agricultural sourcing, southern regional access. |
International Desks
Concentrated where East Africa's trade actually originates and lands.
One accountable counterpart
Instead of assembling an agent, a forwarder, a clearing firm and a fixer separately, you deal with one named manager who owns the outcome and reports on a schedule.
Verified before introduced
We do not forward contacts. Every counterparty we present has been checked on paper, screened against international sanctions and PEP lists, and visited in person.
Corridor knowledge, not just contacts
Knowing that Berbera can serve Ethiopia faster than Djibouti for a given cargo is what protects a schedule and a margin.
Documentation discipline
We work to Incoterms 2020 and UCP 600 practice and prepare documents to the destination market's requirements. Most delays are documentary, not physical.
Transparent, success-weighted fees
Our fee basis is agreed in writing before we start, and a significant portion is tied to completion — so our interest is a transaction that actually lands.
Independence
Our brokerage does not trade on its own account and discloses any interest it holds. You are being advised, not sold to.
Language and cultural fluency
Somali, Arabic, English and Swahili in-house — negotiations happen in the language where the real terms are agreed.
Discretion
Sourcing, pricing and client identity are confidential under NDA as a matter of course, not on request.
Let's build the next success story — together.
Whether you want to buy, sell, invest or enter East Africa, we're here to help.
